Giani Butcher Block Countertop Paint Kit Review

If you watch our show every day, you know that Rach does all of her cooking on a butcher block countertop. While Rach loves it for its convenience ("You can chop everywhere [on it]," she says.), some people are just after the pretty, rustic look. But it doesn't come cheap, Peter Souhleris and Dave Seymour from A&E's "Flipping Boston" say.

"If you're traditionally going into a home and ripping it apart, you can spend 100 bucks a square foot on stone [or] quartz. That costs thousands of dollars," Peter explains. "[And] if you're going to go into a counter store and ask for butcher block, you're going to pay 50 bucks a square foot. It gets pricey."
